Music at the Village Congregational Church

 

The Chancel Choir 
The backbone of our music program, lends its voice each week to our worship service. The choir meets at 9:00am each Sunday morning to rehearse that morning's music, and after service at 11:30am to rehearse for the following Sunday and to introduce future music. If you are interested in joining the Chancel Choir, however short/long a commitment, please speak with Laurie Burke.  Everyone who enjoys singing with others is welcome.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Children's Choir

Children's Choir has begun rehearsing on Sundays immediately following the worship service. Children in grades 2-8 (or age 7 and up) are invited to join.  We provide snacks and drinks and rehearse for about 15 minutes.  We have an eager group of talented singers!  It's not too late to join us!  Interested children should contact Jamie Guyette at (774)280-2235 or jamie.guyette@gmail.com

 

 

 

 

The Village Bell Ringers
Our resident hand bell choir, contribute to our worship service periodically and on special occasions. The Bell Ringers are often called upon to play for other churches and organizations. The Children's Chime Choir

The Children's Chime Choir runs at various times throughout the year. Miss Harriet coordinates the choir and any student in grade 3 or higher may join.  Watch for details in the bulletins and newsletters for when the Children's Chime Choir will rehearse and perform.  If you have any questions, please email Harriet at harrietf@charter.net, or call her at 508-234-9998.
